Sleeping Beauty!

Of all the recent newborns, this is the only little princess of the bunch. It seems that the boys and girls come in waves. It's never even. I enjoyed this little beauty. She was seven days old and just perfect! She never even woke up to see what was going on. This is the PERFECT age for my newborn portrait sessions.

I don't think her daddy ever knew he could love someone so much as he does her! He called to schedule her appointment just hours or maybe even minutes after she was born. It was a beautiful message he left because you could hear the excitement in his voice from having just seen his new baby being born. (I hope that wasn't too cheesy to say but I remember my own husband's excitement when each of our children were born. I don't have much of a memory but that is one thing I don't think I'll ever forget.)

I was privileged to photograph several newborns before I left for my Disney vacation (which was fantastic, by the way!) I had 4 newborns in a weeks time and every one of them was A+ perfection! I love how new they are and I love capturing their newness. These posts will be picture heavy because I couldn't narrow down my favorites.

Girls, Girls, Girls!

Well, I've had a some of the cutest little girls in this month so I'm having fun sharing all of their fun, fru-fru pix!!

Gorgeous Little Girl!!

I've been itching to do something different so I asked a maternity client if she wanted a home session for her newborn and she loved the idea. Her little princess is gorgeous and did so good!! I have another new favorite newborn image from her session!!!

They are still so flexible when they are newly born. Having her feet close to her face made me think of how she might have been in the womb.

Some Fun in the Sun!

I had a great maternity session when the weather was nice so I asked if she wanted to go outside and play for a few minutes. I didn't have much time and it was in the middle of the day so the sun was pretty harsh but I love some of the shots we got. I, also, loved stepping "out of the box" for a little while.
